James Wan pays homage to multiple sub-genre of horror in this absurd - but absurdly fun to watch - straight-to-DVD-esq horror/psychological thriller. By it’s final act, Wan is just laughing hysterically at the camera, hoping you get it. Unfortunately, I think the movie marketing failed him.
