"I'm limited by the technology of my time, but one day you'll figure this out."

Don Cheadle is perhaps one of the best recast decisions ever. He sells Rhodes in this movie so well, even amidst a fairly forgettable villain and less cohesive narrative than the first film. "But don’t be afraid. They’re in our forest."

I LOVED the animation of this. The creativity of some of the scene transitions and colouring was breath-taking, I particularly loved the use of shifting aspect ratios. The characters may tend toward the simplistic side at points, but that isn't a bad thing - the narrative and script is engaging enough with a show-not-tell style that characterisation works fine without extreme complexity. Oh, did I mention how the film seamlessly covers and…
