For the first film in the MCU, Iron Man is a surprising reminder of the smaller, more held together narrative of Phase 1-3. Robert Downey Jr.'s performance as Tony Stark is as brilliant as I remembered, and I definitely felt that I enjoyed it just as much as past viewings. "If I ever wanted to go back... there'd be a piece of me there waiting."
Thoroughly gorgeous and thoroughly depressing, honestly. A few of the scenes last a little too long, lingering past their welcome, but overall the lighting, the mood, the score, and the overall composition of this project are undeniably creating a beautiful style.
Gently crushing, A Ghost Story is a quiet, slow wander through love and loss. Or at least, it had me tearing up at points. Decide for yourself.
