After reflection, I'm pressed to think of what I actually liked about it. I think because this tries to tackle so many themes (environmentalism, self-actualization, the boundaries that should be placed on human advancement and technology), it's too afraid to let them breathe in their own right and instead apts to lay them as bare as possible.
