Heretic 2024
This movie started off so strong at the forefront, but I was left thinking "whatever" at the end. Not a strong finish in any way.
The twists and turns throughout were great though. A simple but well thought out idea over religion and philosophy. I wish there were more to it though. I felt myself wanting more but was left with the bluntness of nothing.
Excellent cast choice, video production, and script choice on creating that feeling of unease and tension from the start. The quality just diminished from there.
Still a solid movie I'll give it that. I love Radiohead.

A pure classic. This film has elements that aren't common in other franchises, with an almost comedic horror story. What this movie does well is the full realness of the events that occur, used in the future parts of this series as references to this original film. You can tell this was very well thought out.

The Martian 2015
Pretty frickin awesome. From the excellent depictions of life on Mars to the sarcastic humor of the main protagonist played by Matt Damon, this movie is amazing.
This film is very scientifically accurate too, more closer to realistic depictions in comparison to Interstellar, but less emotionally heavy. Very incredible sci-fi film.
One thing to note is that the creators of this film did such a splendid job crafting the look and feel of Mars, demonstrating excellent cinematography skills and color palette.
Well worth your time and unforgettable.
