I am disturbed and stunned by the overwhelming misogyny and dehumanization towards Anni throughout. The storyline felt disempowering and hopeless for the main character. You can really see that it was made through the male gaze. There was nothing new, groundbreaking, raw, or hopeful about this. The whole thing felt like a terrible cliche !
