Enthrallingly competent, with moments of genuine Skill shining through.
Bountiful feasting for yaoi enjoyers.
Genuinely funny, to a degree I simply didn't expect.
Also: heehee george clooney. Bradd Pitt?? when was the last time he was in a movie that was actually good?

letterboxd ate my review so
- lot of interesting ideas and concepts
- i love any movie willing to get kinda weird with cinematograpphy, and this pulls off some fun tricks nicely, however....
- has no interest in getting into the deeper chunks of its concept, and doesnt Say anything. which is fine but frequently feels like it *could* be saying something but doesnt realize that it could or editorial choices forced that to be removed
- makes a *lot* of attempts at cool things, succeeds like 60% of the time
- a child is murdered offscreen in the first half hourTranslated from by -
Trick 'r Treat 2007
Really fantastic, actually. It's been a while since I've seen an anthology that weaves its stories together so deftly. Each touches at least two others at various points, and nothing feels left out. It was really pleasing to experience, a texture like I imagine ribbon cables would have if they were candy.
There'z nore to say im sure, but its 2 AM on halloween and im exhausted.Translated from by
