there is so much horror in the world but there is also so much love. cried for 15 whole minutes at the 'i don't believe in god apart from the pieces of him i see in other people' scene. i knew this film would prompt deep horror and also profound hope in me and it did not disappoint on either. the only film that's allowed to be 2 and a half hours long. it could've been longer and i would've been fine with it.

a fun time, loved the ending, we were all infuriated by delauney to the point of real rage. second film i've seen this year which features two men using tennis as a way to play psychosexual mind games with each other whilst the girl they're competing over watches from the sidelines- and it's only february!
