  One of my few regrets when I die will be not having watched Longlegs sooner.

  This tickled my love of religious horror in all the right ways, it was perfect in every aspect from the cinematography to the performances to the writing.
  Nicholas Cage gave his best performance, Maika Monroe was such a compelling protagonist, I don't think I can think of a single fault with the movie to be honest.
  I was so paranoid and gripped throughout the entire movie, it has such a beautiful surrealist charm to it

  Borderlands 2024

  As a long time Borderlands fan I'd have been less offended if Cate Blanchette had stepped out of the screen and called me a slur to my face.

  I was hoping if it would be a bad Borderlands film then it would at least be a half decent action flick and it didn't even deliver on that.

  The only people who did any research were the props, wardrobe, and set designers.

  The writer gave the wiki synopsis a vague skim…

  Wanted to see this when it was running in Odeon but never had a chance, just sat here at like 3 am watching it on MUBI bc I couldn't sleep and now I'm crying

  For a movie with no dialogue it really spoke to me with it's themes of loneliness, struggling to fit in, and finding that happiness with people, as well as being able to let go of the past and move on.

  If it hadn't originally released in 2023 it would have made its way to my top 5 of the year.

Following
