  Pitch Black 2000

  It's basically Alien with cicadas but they never leave LV-426 and it's not a horror film. Make of that what you will.

  Flawed, with a premise that doesn't justify the run-time. That being said, I enjoyed my time with it. It's something I think I would watch again in the future.

  Tangled 2010

  Not bad. The last 'traditional' Disney princess movie I'd say. Definitely puts it in a weird spot given it's also the first 3d one. I guess you could say that its 'tangled' between two generations.

  A bit tortureporny at the start, and certainly unable to justify its runtime. I still enjoyed my time with it, but do wish it had the courtesy to develop its characters. The antagonists are disallowed of any personality, being allowed the barest of personages.

  Conan the Barbarian 1982

  There are a lot of tits in this movie. It is just a shame that they are not enough to redeem it. Perhaps it is just generational, but everything present here just feels off. The action scenes aren't particularly interesting, not action-packed. Dialogue feels rare, with people preferring to make weird grunting and groaning noises.

  You know, the way I've described this film makes it sound a lot like soft-core porn from the 80s. Do not be fooled however, its climax is nowhere near as entertaining.

Following
