  Really struggled with this rating - when I left the theater I thought I would absolutely rate this a 5 star but have since had reservations - the movie is a faithful adaptation of the book, with the wisdom to focus on the emotional core rather than the procedural FBI piece, gripping performances from DiCaprio and Gladstone, and some truly all time shots that only a Scorsese could capture (death vision of Mollys mom, final pan out shot, initial oil…
