Although I liked this film and found it funny at times, the analogies and ideologies felt too shoved down my throat with things being too on the nose that it distracted from the films overall aims and themes, I know Ruffalo had an amazing time in this role and those with little media literacy may have needed it shoved down their throats but my personal taste of more subtle analogies and messages made this film go down slightly in my ratings, still found it fun and thought pattison was great, would rewatch :)

Moonlight 2016
This 3 act film gives a heartbreaking insight into how ignorance and emotional trauma can have a profound affect on a boy coming of age as someone who doesn’t quite fit the ‘set mould’. Mahershala Ali and all of the Chiron actors are phenomenal in this film and the cinematography is incredibly interesting to examine.
