Fast paced thriller with lots to unpack. One of the best “romances” I’ve seen in a movie, simple and very symbolic to the overall plot. There’s a good bit of Hollywood cheese throughout but I like how they tried to raise awareness about tornadoes in Oklahoma overall. Incredible soundtrack. Very solid for a big money making Hollywood blockbuster

The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes 2023
Probably the most well executed example of symbolism I’ve ever seen in a movie. It completes the prequel role very well with not too many references forward and has its own plot line that isn’t dependent on the other movies. The flow is a bit interrupted from part ll to part lll but you have to go by the book so I get it. Acting is top notch across the board. Must watch whether you’re a HG fan or not.

Stunning historical storytelling woven in with illuminating images to grab the viewers attention throughout. The way they flashed back to certain characters that they mentioned later on was very helpful with all the names that were thrown around. It was a very long movie overall and the plot changed from dramatic and exciting to drawn out and political, which is ok but didn’t maintain an appealing pace. Christopher Nolan shows once again how talented he can be with this film.

Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning 2023
Maybe it was the high expectations or previous successful movies that got me but for some reason Dead Reckoning seemed more cheesy and corny than any other MI film. The stunts were crazy and as per usual the filming locations were picturesque. However, the plot felt the exact same as the other films. Not a whole lot of uniqueness. It did the job of being action packed and thrilling, that’s for sure. 3/5 is the perfect rating here.
