Black Bag isn't the kind of film I'm drawn to see, I wasn't engrossed by its story or its characters and I didn't care for the spy jargon. In saying, the film isn't badly acted, it piqued my interest in small doses and I liked how the two main characters had each other's backs.

A cross somewhere between Midsommar and The Menu, Opus is an uncomfortable and timely look at the cult of celebrity. The film is led wonderfully by Ayo Edebri, features a great supporting cast (Juliette Lewis I love you!), a boppy soundtrack and an insufferably egocentric John Malkovich.
