Breaks my heart that this one has to be my "I did not care for The Godfather" movie of the year following Furiosa and KOTFM. 90 minutes of great actors doing great jobs in extremely hushed and quiet British accents I could barely understand. So much lingo, so many faces, so many random threads that did not intrigue me in any way. Soderbergh is clearly a great director and the cast is clearly great but this one was a complete miss for me.

Great movie! Incredibly funny, you can tell some animators and especially the voice cast had the time of their lives making this. Not much more to say it's just great.

That being said I hope "animation is cinema" Twitter doesn't pull a Transformers One and make a good chunk of this movie's legacy "it didn't make enough money". Not to say WB isnt above criticism, they bungled the hell out of this release, but considering what happened to Coyote v Acme, I'm glad this one at least fucking came out

There comes a point in the middle where I started to get a bit worried it was gonna lose me, but the second half of this is legit transcendental. When I first started it I thought it was funny but I was kinda worried the novelty would fall apart super quickly. It really didn't at all! I was shocked by how good the score was too, probably one of the best ones I've heard this year

Altogether, this is a movie ass movie and I thoroughly enjoyed it

Already set up to fail for me by the previews. First time I saw any ads at my AMC for literal pro-IDF propaganda, then immediately followed up by a trailer for Jonathan Majors' comeback movie.

The movie was also fuckin dogshit. Incredibly annoying and preachy military propaganda about how conservative ideals are awesome - to be clear this isn't a conservative movie outwardly but it is subtextually conservative as all hell. American flags shoved into your face, family obeyed like…
