Not the scariest, nor the craziest, nor a profoundly moving watch but nonetheless a treat from start to end for a while - greatly paced, darkly humorous, a clever and unpredictable plot (just avoid the trailers), solid performances (Thatcher and Quaid of course the two standouts) no real nitpicks. Zach Cregger is but a producer for this film but like Barbarian; a genuinely refreshing slice of horror-adjacent cinema blending together the bonkers, the brutal and the "biting" commentary (i.e. holy shit, men fucking suck)

Really wish I could enjoy it more tbh* (perhaps a second viewing required)
The 'cat and mouse' plot is good and trim with some solid injections of wit, there's really no nitpicks or criticisms I can make of it, the cinematography is solid as are the performances, action set pieces are excellent...But yeah despite it being a technically very well made film, I just found it lacking.
