Top tier comedy decked out with light hearted bloody giggles. I wouldn’t particularly praise Deadpool & Wolverine for having a great storyline, but I was pretty enlightened by the screenplay. A good time nonetheless; the sum of this film’s parts definitely exceeds its faults.

With impeccable sound design and the best use of frames in cinematography, I honestly don’t see any glaring fault with Longlegs. This movie gave me chills and had such a unique way of making a tasteful statement in each scene. Plus, there’s really really cool editing.

The equilibrium between calm suspense and rigid tension captivated me thoroughly from start to end—and although the storyline wasn’t the most original nor innovative, this film’s perfect pacing made me feel alive and wanting more every single second.

Undoubtedly, Longlegs makes the top ten films I’ve seen to date.

Seen @ shaw lido in theaters!!!

I’ve never fucking wished to unsee a movie and get my fucking time back ever. From its horribly torturous long ass title sequence to such screeching under edited scenes, I’m so mad I didn’t get up and walk out mid film. I hate how this film dragged out every fucking part, there was no conciseness in editing AT ALL—it’s like the producers and editors didn’t even try in curating a valid story. Showing Up felt like a compilation of unedited clips,…

rewatching this today was a totally different experience than I remembered in the theaters as a kid—I lowkey liked the spiderman franchise more. retrospectively, it was also kinda weird knowing who dies and what vaguely happens before watching the film, but nonetheless, this movie did a great job in maintaining excitement and creating such an immersive atmosphere. decent watch and probably worth my time 🥸
