First thing I need it known this film is far funnier than parasite and it’s ridiculous people saying it is a lesser film because of that because if anything it is handling darker and far more existential themes but with much needed levity that without would make the film a miserable experience for sure. A sub 60 minute rush of emotion as devastating as it is simply beautiful, I went in with little to no expectations besides one friend gushing about it when it originally released and yet the film still blew me away i found myself stuck in place with tears soaking my face afterwards if that’s any indicator of it’s emotional power over my heart.
