  A tour-de-force on the first watch in cinemas, but further viewings make the flaws more obvious. Worth experiencing, if only to be carried away by the wanderlust for a ficitionalised, romantic vision of Hollywood.

  Well shot, close-up portrait drama. Never really got out of first gear, but the racing action is well done. Shockingly gruesome ending, which rather soured it. And the opening 'flashback' is uninentionally funny, reminding me of 'Betty's Mad Dash' from the Glam Metal Detectives.

  The last film I saw before lockdown. So glad I did - a really excellent, enthralling film, with my favourite kind of "zoom out" rug pull reveal twist. Gruesome ending, though.
