This was a satisfying closing chapter for our girl Bridge.
I’d originally been horrified when I saw the trailer and Mark Darcy was dead, but this actually opened up a whole new angle for Bridget, and the profound grief and love of the movie really held it all together.

I have LOTS of thoughts on this, which is, I think, the sign of good/ interesting film. Or at least a film with impact! The film itself was absolutely beautiful and captivating: the colours, the costumes, the fish eye lens shots, Emma Stone’s eyes! (The steampunk style staging is funny bcos I kinda hate steampunk vibes but I didn’t mind this!!)
