Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again 2018
good movie, but not better than the first. great abba songs, even though they're not as popular. loved the scene at the restaurant! it's got that great mamma mia feel. cried at the end. I highly recommend singing along to the songs, makes the watching experience much better.

okay kinda feelgood movie. great to watch with a friend on a friday night when you're both in the mood to watch something kinda goofy but not too annoying. didn't know it was the remake when we started watching it, but I haven't seen the original so it didn't bother me.

Midnight in Paris 2011
Had mixed feelings about Owen Wilson in the beginning, but ended up loving both his character and the movie! As a history of ideas student I've thought about how much cooler it would be to live in the past than it is to live in my own time, many times. It felt great watching a movie that romanticises and portrays that feeling so accurately :)
