  It's impressive how Christopher Nolan was able to make a 3 hour biopic about J. Robert Oppenheimer as engaging as this. I was fully locked in throughout the runtime of Oppenheimer. It was intense, suspenseful, and very poignant with its message. Nolan has made a deeply compelling character study about an important, yet very complicated figure in world history.   I was a little worried going into this film because this is probably Anderson's most divisive work despite the cult status it has cultivated in the years after its release.   Obviously certain elements of this film haven't aged all that gracefully, but Psycho remains one of the blueprints for modern horror/thriller films.
