I think it has a lot of amazing things going for it, but especially the finale is only watchable if you remember it's Williams's still narcissistic perspective and idealization of himself. Imagine Miles Teller's character in Whiplash wrote his own biopic and the finale was a triumphant moment of him finding himself and overcoming his insecurities
