  I thought this movie did a great job with the heavy subject matter. Was sensitive and also not too graphic. Thought Ryle & Lilly had great chemistry along with Atlas & Lilly. Atlas’s protection of Lilly was perfect. Casting for young characters was spot on. LOVED the moments showing the strength of women through the mother/daughter/friend relationships. Did not sugar coat the impact of domestic violence. Cried when “My Tears Ricochet” by Taylor Swift played. Only thing I didn’t like was Lilly’s outfits and that her hair needed brushed.
