I wanted to like this SO FUCKING BAD. I’ve been excited for months and months. huge fan of parasite and Snowpiercer and bong joon ho’s masterful social commentary. Mickey 17 fell so flat on all counts. the movie felt like one long fucking cock-tease…I kept waiting for it to make a point or say something or have a hard hitting line that threw the rest of the movie into harsh perspective but it never delivered. so many interesting plot points…
