Ready or Not 2019
was putting off watching this for a while as it looked honestly quite crap but I was so pleasantly surprised.
Samara Weaving (Grace, the bride) is so unbelievably cool in this, her outfit is killer, her scream is crazy iconic and she’s such a baddie!
it’s obviously a little silly especially the ending but it’s not ridiculous, it’s done in a way that makes the stereotypical ending work so well. the ending shot is iconic, literally the only word I can use to describe this whole movie. enjoyed this so much

this movie is deeply disturbing at points. a heart breaking story of someone’s life and their relationship with their mental health, body image, self esteem while battling the grief of the physically losing his boyfriend from suicide and the loss of his daughter due to a custody battle. the excessive eating throughout this movie made me feel truly uncomfortable, Brendan Fraser completely embodies his role both emotionally and physically. his first Hollywood leading role in 12 years after many controversies…
