(Earlier today I cried actual tears watching my cat play with a new toy because she looked like she was having so much fun. Therefore I obviously handled the Little Cat in Distress for 90 Minutes Movie super well.)

A total treat for the eyes and ears, with an absolute belter of a performance from Ralph Fiennes. Isabella Rossellini’s mic drop moment is also very, very good. Great movie.

Honestly, this film is so laughable and cringe to watch as a Northern Irish person I have no idea if any of it is objectively good or not. I’m thinking not.
It’s a movie about 1970s NI which basically says nothing about literally anything at all. So supposedly important is the location of Belfast that the film is named after it and the city is named about 15 odd times in dialogue, yet it is so flat and non-specific this…
Starts really funny and moves into a true ghost story with its own heart. Absolutely loved this. 🎃
