    There are many horror satires these days that poke fun at the tropes of horror movies and not all of them are a success. One of those failures that comes to mind is The Final Girls.     Squid Game is one of the most captivating series that I have watched in a long time. I found myself staying up way past my bedtime due to the extremely effective cliffhangers. The characters had a lot of depth to them and I was quite impressed with the acting. In my opinion, it is essential to watch the series with subtitles, as opposed to dubbed, because the performances are so strong (with the exception of the horribly cheesy actors that appear later on).
