Think this will forever be the most emotional Premieres I’ll ever sit through (at least until I attend my own lol). At the end of the screening, the director invited all those who wouldn’t be here today with Nicholas Winton to stand up… a couple dozen people stood up. One of the “children” even had the original number they board the train with around her neck. Everyone had goosebumps. Everyone was sobbing. They literally re-enacted a scene from the film.

Showing Up 2022
As soon as I finished watching this I went outside to have lunch. Midway through my sandwich I noticed a pigeon lying face down a meter away from me… If I hadn’t just watched this film I would have ran away screaming due to its size and proximity- but I didn’t, if anything felt like this was a sign to adopt the pigeon and nurse it back to health. Unfortunately the pigeon had already died so it was a pretty bittersweet afternoon for me.
