The Nightingale 2018
This film was immensely disturbing and such a difficult watch, please be warned it is very violent. That being said, it's such an important film to watch if you can stomach it, there's no way to water down the brutality faced by British colonialism. Billy's character just absolutely broke me, literally so many characters deserved better and others - well some would argue they got what they deserved.

Okay, this is GOOD. I had tears welling in my eyes at Sarah Fiers death, I was in awe and shocked bc it's just so unfair! You can really feel these primordial feelings as you watch the story of the "witch" unfold. Maybe it's because I'm studying the crucible in school but I was thinking about the crucible a lot afterwards, obviously because they're both witch trials (one with McCarthyism). It's beautiful and haunting, I absolutely love this trilogy, how it took me 3 years to watch the final part, I don't know but I'm so glad I did, watch this!!
