Hidden Figures 2016
Amazing casting, storytelling, and the filming of it, they really showed how absolutely groundbreaking and smart these women were. We definitely need more of these movies!

The Iron Claw 2023
This movie had the opportunity to show more dimension of the Von Erich brothers, but falls short. Instead we see surface level trauma of the brothers, no real understanding of who they are, and then lives cut short. There could have been way more opportunities for us to know Mike, Kerry, and David way more. The movie felt like an insincere setup to their demises and the family curse—nothing more.
This fell flat of my expectations and could’ve evoked way more emotion and connection to the family. With that being said, it had potential and lost it.Translated from by
