I really can't believe I'm just now seeing this timeless classic. The chemistry between Don and Cosmo is just perfection, the epitome of friendship and don't even get me started on the choreography and dance sequences, I absolutely love tap (it's really the only regret I have from childhood). This film was extremely depressing. You have Antonio, who finally gets a job to be able to provide for his family post WWII but in an instant loses everything. For both of the actors in leading roles to be inexperienced, I thought they gave such a charismatic performance and portrayed the father-son dynamic so well.
