  highly recommend watching this alone in your room after a depressive episode and also at 3 am. this was my first studio ghibli film and it left me actually crying throughout because it was so beautiful and if you need motivation to go outside and touch some grass the landscapes will make you want to go on a hike and become a forest creature.

  very very nice. made me happy though I was slightly drunk throughout viewing but for a 2 hour runtime that’s understandable. only critique is that there wasn’t enough screen time of the frog.

  like always I love the hobbit series so much but this one gets half a star off because of the weird “hot tall dwarf” / “random elf woman not in the books” relationship thing. but I didn’t take a full star off despite the stra*ght propaganda because I don’t remember watching it before though I know I have so it felt like a new experience 🥰🥰.
