Really weird movie. I expected so much from it in the beginning. Like the genre seemed great, the two main characters are both amazing actors and the story line they set up in the beginning seemed great with beautiful cinematics. In the middle you just kinda get thrown off? It gets weird, confusing and they’re diluting everything that happened before, whole backstory of em seems less important. It literally feels like someone with unmedicated adhd wrote it. It’s chaotic and…

I really loved the beginning of the movie, perfect surrealism. My favorite is definitely the scene where the couple is in bed, the man can’t sleep and all kinds of stuff keeps happening. Genius. I also really liked the part in the hotel, they kind of shift to more of the uncomfortable part of surrealism there, pure art. I kinda started losing interest towards the end, it started getting slower and seemed like all the interesting parts were in the beginning. Overall enjoyed in though.

As soon as I saw Ralph Fiennes was playing in it I knew it was going to be good. Absolute gorgeous movie. The cinematography is just incredible, the location is perfect and so many great actors star in this movie. The colors, angles and composition of every scene was so well thought out and it’s noticeable. Great movie, super realistic and makes the person watching it think about their life and goals. I like the romantic parts of this, I like how well you can see the joy on Julia Roberts face during the movie. Acting was amazing. The fact that they actually filmed in all these cool places is something you don't find in a lot of movies. One of my favorite romcoms, it has the comedy parts, the realistic parts, the very romantic scenes but it's definitely a little deeper than most romcoms which is a plus in my opinion.
