Wow what a trip this movie was. so intense it was quite overwhelming at times. I really enjoyed the visual composition, characterized by its gothic aesthetic and atmospheric tension. It really captivated me like I was in a trance, granted I was also drunk. I would say the deliberate pacing felt really sluggish at times.
This movie is definitely not for everyone. If you liked poor things & the lobster I think you would appreciate the campy and grotesques of this
