The Tale of The Princess Kaguya 2013
this might be the best studio ghibli movie... its a well known theme of a princess who doesn't fit the cookie cutter, but the dialogue and art style really sent home the tone of simplicity and nature in kaguya's home, the cold and rigid feeling of the mansion in the capitol, and the anger and despair when she runs away from her naming party. loved it!!! ☺️☺️

Jennifer's Body 2009
i think this movie flies over a lot of people's head, and i can sorttaa see why. i appreciate the spin on the classic trashy teen horror movie, and i really wished that this movie had gotten the appreciation it has now.
i appreciate the movie for not actually showing the rape of jennifer, but using an occult sacrifice as a stand in.
i love the complex dynamic between jennifer and needy :) the fact that they include the cliche…

ok wait i actually want to rewrite this review, because I do have some things to say:
I think the best characters in this movie was Tangerine and Lemon. They were enjoyable and funny, but they also were the most developed. We learn the extent of their relationship, their motivations, why and why not they do things just from their dialogue, some props (the thomas the train stickers) and only one 'origin-story' flashback.
