    The Life List

    ★★★½

This is a delightful feel-good rom-com. I thoroughly enjoyed the adventure and found myself unexpectedly moved by parts of it. The Life List is underpinned by wonderful, committed performances and a well-crafted script. I appreciate that it wasn’t overly preachy, striking just the right balance of believability, relatability, and heart.

This film is one of those kinds where you don’t have to think too much; instead, you just let it make you feel and enjoy. Isla Fisher’s comedic chops and physical comedy have brought Confessions of a Shopaholic to life. Though the dialogue clearly reflects its time, the film remains entertaining from start to finish.

While it may not have the same laugh-out-loud moments that made the first two films so memorable, Paddington in Peru still delivers warmth, heart, and adventure. The commitment…

India’s 1st Best Trans Model Agency

    ★★★½

This moving documentary explores the lives of India’s ‘third gender’ -- the Hijra  -- while capturing the highs and lows of queer transwomen from a trailblazing modelling agency. As a queer viewer, it evokes a powerful range of emotions, from laughter and joy to reflection and heartache. The film thoughtfully portrays the historical and societal treatment of the Hijra, balancing challenges with moments of triumph. Above all, it is a heartfelt celebration of hope and love, a testament to the resilience and beauty of our queer siblings.
