  this film made me feel something i had never felt before. the fear of forgetting. i always thought about how nostalgia gives me pain—that i could remember and feel those memories, but i would never be able to go back. but when i watched this movie, i appreciated remembering them. i realized i would never want to forget those memories just to get rid of the pain.
  they are pieces of your story, shaping who you are, even if they bring some hurt. embracing them, even the painful parts, means you honor the life you've lived and the feelings you've experienced. i just loved this film.
