Old people in general make me sad, the looming mortality in stark contrast with the mundanity of their day to day life is something that is very hard to grapple with and the possibility of losing my own grandma is a fear I deal with every day, I am so grateful I now have this film to turn to…
this movie keeps coming back to you in waves, long after the credits roll. some scenes will be ingrained in memory forever. can never listen to 'under pressure' again without thinking of this movie. also will always remind me of the poem 'the photograph' by shirley toulson, paul mescal is magnificent in this role
