Little idiosyncrasies that only I knew about.

A reluctant genius finds himself in the company of an unorthodox psychologist.

Some of the most moving, thought provoking dialogue i’ve ever heard, infinitely aided by Robin Williams’ wonderful delivery, the only film i’ve ever simultaneously cried and laughed at, a true masterpiece.

An interesting take on a previous generation of cinema and a quirky depiction of the manson family murders.

All the gorgeous cinematography and artistic violence you would expect from Tarantino but an unexpectedly dry storyline.

Intense but incredible. Shooting the whole film in one take immerses you in the stress of the restaurant, the cast put on such a phenomenal performance that you feel like you’re a part of the staff. Each character’s personality isn’t specifically introduced yet they don’t need to be, we learn all about them just by paying attention to the way they interact with each other and the customers, every character has their unique place in the movie, removing any one…

The raw dashcam and camcorder footage paired with the humour and energy of Gyllenhaal and Peña’s partnership creates a perfect portrayal of humanity in law enforcement, making the harsher moments in the film seem much more brutal.

Hilarious and hard hitting.
