Love the way they portray her relationship with her grandmother and how she looked up to her but the whole movie lacked depth into her life and focused on her alcoholism and problematic relationship other than her as a person and her music.
The cast slayed, Lowkey I would marry beetlejuice cause he funny and loyal. The mother in law was also the best and most relatable character.
Didn’t expect this movie to be such an emotional and heartwarming coming of age but I enjoyed it a lot.
I do think these girls were definitely gay and they just didn’t know it yet which sucks, and baby Cynthia Nixon as a little hippy I love it
