  not to be all “the book was better” but as someone who has read it twice (look we all struggled during 2020 lockdown) the book was a lot better.
  a lot of parts felt rushed, especially the first act, i think they should have built up more on their friendship growing between the wedding and the new year’s party. 
  i do understand why some parts were scaled down/removed for time (replacing Luna with the journalist instead makes sense narratively) but…
