Didn’t quite enjoy how at times, the movie felt as if it was unaware what genre it wanted to fall under.
Shosanna segments bored me out of my mind. I still deem her as pointless due to the fact a cinema containing all the Nazi higher-ups would’ve been blown up either way. She escaped dying to the Nazis only to die to one later on. Hated seeing her on-screen.
Loved the Basterds and wish they replaced her screen time. Genuinely would’ve been a bore without them.

The premise of constant separation between business and familial matters was perfectly illustrated in the final shot.
This recurring theme captures the true essence of the movie, leaving me breathless each time I am reminded of it—more than the garrote wires used to kill Luca and Carlo ever could.
