  a classic tale of terror, a vampire tucked away in the shadows of transylvania, possessing and killing women. its a classic story that could strike fear in the hearts of many.

  the ambiance of the film being in just black and white is a testament to the darkness of certain films in the early 1900s. a true reflection of the book is what i see.

  its a film that keeps you on your toes, and a film of silent terror.…

  this movie made me melancholic, not only because of the topics/substance (another movie reference) but because of the overall cinematography. i give this movie 4 stars because its genuinely an incredible and interesting coming of age film having to deal with a sort of obsession. the anxieties of being a teenager, the struggle of being integrated into society are perfectly captured in this film.
