There's nothing I could say about this inexplicably lavish film, that would matter the least, or even describe the experience of watching it. I'm at loss of words, and even if I could find them, it wouldn't matter.
Egger's Nosferatu is the epitome of the true, unaltered Gothic horror before it became the romanticized "goth" that we now know. It's supreme brilliancy.
