This movie rocked my cock off! So much action, it really had my testosterone a-pumpin. Like what was it like when someone had the idea for this movie? I would give my left nut to be a fly on the wall in this writing room. Take two larger than life actors and tell them “just be yourselves” “now be each other” it’s genius! It checked every box for me, hand to hand combat, bomb threat, car chase, explosion, bonus explosion! 5 stars.

I loved this movie just like I love all of Greta Gerwig’s work. I enjoyed the modern spin on the story. The cast was amazing. Saoirse Ronan sharing costume pieces with Timothee chalamet gives me Diane Keaton vibes. Eliza Scanlen always had such a haunting presence making her perfect for Beth’s role. Florence Pugh plays a girl you want to be which makes you relate to the pain Jo feels when Amy snatches her man. And Emma Watson, a self-serious queen, nails the role of responsible Meg. I love these white girls.

I hate this movie because of the reasons I liked it when I was a teenager. Penny Lane is a terrible, annoying character that every teenager falls in love with. Every time she speaks I puke. I like Jason Lee playing a hot guy though. All of my boyfriends have always liked this movie a little bit too much. It’s really not the movie’s fault but my experiences with the movie that make me hate it. 1 star nonetheless.
