I watched all episodes at once and then immediately went on to read everything about how this was shot. incredibly crafted. and stephen graham is good. for better or for worse, this is one percent not a preachy show, so I don’t know if people who are not familiar with the incel thing are going to fully grasp it, but they will at least be introduced to the issue.

Scott Pilgrim Takes Off 2023
I didn’t know this was a little bit of a reboot of the movie, so it was fun. it’s more ramona centered, which I was very pleased about. I loved it that the whole cast came back to voice their characters, I would have loved it even more if my girls aubrey plaza and anna kendrick were in it a bit (or a lot) more, though.

I’ve been saying for a while that it’s time we have more movies with lesbian romances there are not only about the romance, and this is an example of what I mean. The film was more mature than I thought it would be based on the synopsis – it’s quiet and honest rather than overly dramatic. It might bother some people that the plot doesn’t go very deep into the debate it presents, but I didn’t mind that. Kate Mara and Ellen Page are great together, their scenes are really sweet to watch, good casting and even better chemistry.
