  The kind of movie you spend its entire length hoping there's something big coming but then spend the next few hours banging your head against the wall for wasting your hard earned money on tickets (although, I watched it on TV suckers) and wonder who the crap would make this movie and who would give their hard earned money to make it and then a few days later have a nightmare in which they announce a second part to it. Crap! Crap!! Crapitty Crap!!!

  Fan works if you take it as a commercial thriller & throw out realism (at times). It's the age old story of obsession, and while it lacks depth, it makes up for it in action chases and the fact that there are no tangents to the main story - that of a fan out for revenge when not given the importance he thinks he deserves from the film star - and no song sequences.   Abso-freaking-lutely loved Badlapur. Human psychology as its best. A movie where I didn't even care about the pretty awesome twists, because I just couldn't get over how brilliantly human nature is dissected. A little slow at times, but then that works perfectly to depict the vulnerability and frustrations of the characters. It's also a film where every character is a different shade of grey and I just can't seem to like or dislike any one of them. Brilliant!!
