The actual combat scenes here aren't shot incredibly well, but they are pretty crazy in their detail and choreography. Gore looks absurd too. Felt like watching Call of Duty in a good way at times.
Sadly the rest of the movie exists and it's a bit crap. Even outside of the obvious America first politics. The performances are pretty fucking good but the story is crap.
If this was a Chinese propaganda film about the heroic communists fighting in the Korean War I'd have loved it. Alas.
Watched it twice in a row. No extra thoughts to add. It's the best I've ever seen.
