  I was one year old when I first saw this. After the movie, I refused to get into any moving vehicle unless Chaiyya Chaiyya was playing. 

  Mum purchased an empty cassette tape and recorded the song on both sides. 

  We played that till I was four. I started humming the song before I’d learnt to speak. 

  Then we got a Walkman, till I was ten.

  iPod till I was fifteen.

  iPhone till now. 

  The song still goes on. It’s probably one of my first memories, I’ll let you know if it’s the last.
