  wow this film is amazing. truly a great depiction of finding peace and solidarity within the negatives. love love love riz, so good in this.
  scenes are shot so beautifully and truly great acting all round.

  trying to review this film makes me feel bipolar because on one side of the spectrum, this film seems to be blatant propaganda with a centralised loveable character, and the narrative to just do what your told. but on the other side, this film is just a sad coming of age story. either way tom hanks is good but I still don’t know which side to take so I’m just gonna go down the middle. cowardly move? probably. do I care? also probably.
